1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Deaf Camping & Caravanning Club UK (DCCCuk) website and participation in DCCCuk activities. By accessing this website or becoming a member, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. About DCCCuk

DCCCuk is a membership-based organisation established to support and promote camping and caravanning activities for Deaf people within the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland).

3. Membership

3.1 Membership is open to Deaf individuals who camp independently with their own unit (caravan, motorhome, campervan, trailer tent, or tent).

3.2 Membership is subject to approval by the DCCCuk Management Committee.

3.3 Membership is renewed annually upon payment of the applicable subscription fee.

3.4 By joining DCCCuk, members agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, the Constitution, and the Code of Conduct.

3.5 The Management Committee reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate membership where it is deemed in the best interests of DCCCuk.

4. Fees and Payments

4.1 Membership fees are set annually by the Management Committee or approved at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

4.2 Annual subscriptions must be paid by 31 December each year.

4.3 Late payments may incur an administration surcharge, typically £5.00.

4.4 A £5.00 administration fee applies to refunds or booking cancellations.

4.5 Members are responsible for keeping their contact details up to date.

5. Events, Meets, and Regional Areas

5.1 Members must notify hosts in advance when attending meets.

5.2 Members must comply with site rules at all camping locations.

5.3 Attendance at events is at the member’s own risk. Members are responsible for their own health and wellbeing.

5.4 On unlicensed sites, non-members are not permitted due to insurance restrictions.

6. Website Use

6.1 The DCCCuk website is provided for information and communication purposes.

6.2 Content may not be copied, distributed, or reused without permission.

6.3 DCCCuk reserves the right to update website content at any time.

7. Liability Disclaimer

DCCCuk shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property incurred during events, meets, or through use of the website.

8. Amendments

DCCCuk reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
