The house is a striking Elizabethan mansion built around a 13th-century Pele Tower. Expanded in the late 16th century, the Hall has been home to the Bagot family for over 400 years. The interiors of Levens Hall reflect the craftsmanship of the Jacobean era, featuring dark-stained wood paneling, carved furniture, and ornate plaster ceilings.

Dogs

They are happy to welcome friendly, quiet and well-behaved dogs to our caravan park because the Lake District provides the perfect backdrop for walks with all members of your household.
However, we do advise that the rules regarding cleanliness and cleaning up after your dog are absolutely paramount.
For the benefit of your caravan neighbours, it is compulsory that dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times whilst on-site.

Visitors

Due to limited parking, they encourage guests to meet friends and family offsite.
They have a small visitor car park which can be used for short visits of up to one hour, subject to availability.
If you wish to have day visitors there is a charge of £5 per person.
Visitors must be booked onto the site using the Order Form link on the Prices & Booking page of their website.

Public Transport

Bus Services: Stagecoach operates extensive bus routes, including the scenic 555 (Lancaster-Keswick) that goes through the heart of the Lake District. Other key routes include the 599 and 77/77A.
