Code of Conduct
Deaf Camping & Caravanning Club UK (DCCCuk)
- Purpose
This Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behaviour expected of all DCCCuk members, volunteers, and participants at events and online.
- Respect and Inclusion
2.1 Members must treat others with respect, dignity, and consideration.
2.2 Discriminatory, abusive, or exclusionary behaviour will not be tolerated.
2.3 Members should act sensitively and inclusively at all meets and events.
- Behaviour at Events
3.1 Members must comply with site rules and host instructions.
3.2 Conduct that causes distress, intimidation, or disruption is unacceptable.
3.3 Members are responsible for their own actions and wellbeing.
- Complaints and Concerns
4.1 Complaints regarding behaviour should be directed to the DCCCuk Management Committee.
4.2 Complaints should not be raised directly with event hosts unless necessary.
- Disciplinary Action
5.1 The Management Committee may suspend a member’s participation while a complaint is investigated.
5.2 Membership may be terminated where conduct is found to be serious or damaging to DCCCuk.
5.3 Members whose membership has been withdrawn may apply for re-admission after a reasonable period.
- Reputation of DCCCuk
Members must not act in a way that brings DCCCuk into disrepute, whether in person or online.
- Acceptance
All members are expected to familiarise themselves with and adhere to this Code of Conduct. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.
